Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

It's interesting that Apple isn't rushing to fix the Safari issue. I'm just glad I don't use it.

Umm...sounds like the real security problem is in IE, and has been for over a year. I wouldn't be too glad you're not using Safari. If you're using IE then you have much bigger problems.

Talk about PR spin. The dangerous bug is in IE and has been for a year. Why am I not surprised.

I'm on a Mac at home and use Firefox there, so I'm oblivious, I guess. I have IE at work, but it sounds like I would need Safari on my work computer too for this particular bug to take hold? I know there are other ones out there though.

For this to really be an issue then you would need to run Safari on a Windows computer with an unpatched IE (which is all IE versions, since there is no patch yet). It does sound to me like there is a problem with Safari, but it's not as severe as they're making it sound, which is why Apple isn't fixing it until 3.2.
